The Dirty South is the fifth album by the Drive By Truckers, originally released in 2004. It is their second concept album and, like its predecessor Southern Rock Opera, the album examines the state of the South, and unveils the hypocrisy, irony, and tragedy that continues to exist. This limited edition 2LP reissue is available on clear and blue splatter vinyl.
