SHIPPING
Vinyl Junkies Record Shack, LLC ("VJRS") offers tiered flat-rate USPS media mail shipping on all domestic orders according to weight. International orders will be charged standard USPS First Class International shipping table rates. Orders received by 12PM PST (Monday – Friday) will be processed within 1-2 days and sometimes within the same day. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays or federal holidays.
Typically, items arrive at their destination much faster than these timeframes suggested by the USPS.  We also offer USPS Priority Mail for expedited orders at an additional cost. Shipping times are as follows:
  • USPS Media Mail is 2-14 business day transit + order processing time
  • USPS Priority Mail is 1-3 business day transit + order processing time
  • USPS First Class International transit varies by country but typically takes between 1-4 weeks to arrive
We do not refund shipping on international orders that fail due to customer error. VJRS is not liable for items lost in the mail. If an item's tracking number shows as delivered, we are no longer responsible for said item. You will need to contact your local USPS post office for assistance. Prior to shipping, we take the utmost care to ensure that the product that you are receiving is in pristine condition. VJRS is not liable for any cosmetic damage that may occur to the record while in transit (torn shrink wrap, bent corners, ruined box, etc).
 
*We do not drop ship, items are sent to the address pertaining to a customer's account unless otherwise noted. If you are purchasing an item or a friend please leave a note indicating new shipping address.*

VJRS is required to collect sales tax from orders shipping to CALIFORNIA customers, computed on the total amount, including shipping & handling.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
As part of our credit card security efforts, VJRS verifies complete credit card information for all international orders before shipping items; billing and shipping addresses must match. This is to help protect both VJRS and its customers from the dangers of international credit fraud.

DUTY AND TAXES
The recipient of any and all goods sold by VJRS is responsible for any and all customs fees, including taxes, brokerage fees, and any other fees assessed at the border prior to delivery. If you have questions, please email us at orders@vinyljunkies.net 
SHIPPING FAQ
I just placed an order - how long will it take to process?
Typically between 1-3 business days (Monday - Friday). Orders that are missing info, need corrections and/or verification will add to this processing time. Orders placed on Saturday/Sunday will not ship until Monday. Orders placed on a holiday will ship the next business day.

How do you ship your packages?
We use the highest quality vinyl-specific boxes for records and make sure items are snug in their packaging to prevent damage during transit. While we pack and ship our orders with care and to the best of our abilities, once it leaves our shop, it's out of our hands. Unfortunately, we are at the mercy of the USPS and we can't control how they handle our packages. 

When do I receive my tracking number / how can I check order status?
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking information. Depending on the size of your order, you may receive multiple emails with different tracking numbers. Can I combine multiple orders?
Unfortunately, due to the volume of orders we receive, we cannot guarantee that we'll be able to combine separate orders. We pack and ship orders chronologically and if two orders are placed separately throughout the day, we may be unable to process them together. However, if you place two orders within a small time frame and want them combined, please email us at orders@vinyljunkies.net as quickly as possible and we will do our best.
