MUSIC FOR THE MASSES - Music for the Masses is Depeche Mode's sixth studio album, released in September 1987. It marked a shift toward a more expansive sound and featured standout tracks like "Never Let Me Down Again, " "Strangelove, " and "Behind the Wheel." The record's success was supported by the groundbreaking "Music for the Masses Tour, " culminating in their legendary performance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena on June 19, 1988.
